American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a diagnostic radiology department in Charlotte, NC, with a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARRT certification required.

Details

• Hospital-based diagnostic radiology department at a 244-bed acute care facility with no trauma designation
• Facility offers X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine with Radiology Nursing support
• Department serves ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations with an average of 120 studies per day
• Imaging performed in the ED, Fluoroscopy, OR (C-arm, O-arm, G-arm), and via portables
• Inpatient census typically operates at full capacity (~224 patients)
• EMR is Epic (Epic Radiant RIS); PACS is Philips iSite
• Equipment includes Philips Diagnost R/F, Intelli C R/F, Shimadzu RadSpeed (ED), Shimadzu MD8 & Konica mKDR Xpress portables, GE OEC Elite C-arms, Mini C Digital Flat Panel, Medtronic O-arm, and Globus G-arm
• Full-time schedule, Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM–9:30 PM (10-hour evening shift)
• On-call required approximately 2 shifts per month as needed
• No floating required
• Weekend rotation required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology; at least 12 months of core experience in the specialty area with most recent experience within the last year
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
• Active state license required if applicable
• Current BLS
• Experience in fluoroscopy, OR imaging, portable X-ray, and ED imaging workflow
• 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Orientation includes 1 day of administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review) followed by 2 days to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed
