American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 2 years of experience, including bariatric and robotics experience, for a hospital OR position at a Level II Trauma Center in Green Bay, WI.

• Work takes place in a hospital OR setting across two locations within the same building, with rare floating to an off-site surgery center
• The OR consists of 19 rooms split between two locations in the hospital
• Patient population includes General, Robotics (DaVinci XI), Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Urology, GYN, Minor Vascular, Endovascular, Ophthalmology, Ortho, Neuro, and Cardiac cases
• Neuro and orthopedic scrubbing capability is required, with robotics (DaVinci XI) experience being a key focus
• 1:1 tech-to-patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 0645–1515, 8-hour shifts
• No on-call or weekend rotation requirements, though some weekends and holidays may be required
• EMR: Epic
• Anesthesia monitoring provided by anesthesiologist

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of OR scrub tech experience required
• Bariatric scrubbing experience required
• Robotics experience required, specifically DaVinci XI
• Ability to scrub Neuro and Orthopedic cases required
• CST certification required
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience
• License required if applicable
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Additional Information

• Performs preparatory, scrubbing, and related services for surgical cases across all specialty areas
• Assists with ancillary tasks including cleaning, outdates, picking and stocking supplies, and assembling instrumentation in sterile processing
• Assists with patient positioning and sterile field setup
• Key case types highlighted by the manager include ENT, Endovascular, Minor Vascular, and Robotics
• Orientation consists of two 8-hour shifts on the unit
• Charge nurse coverage is available Monday through Friday only
• Hospital-provided scrubs in procedural color
• Free on-site parking
• First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis
• No more than 4 days of RTO will be approved, subject to manager approval
• Facility is a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Level III Maternity Center, and Primary Stroke Center with 167 beds
