American Traveler is hiring an EP Lab Technologist with experience in EP mapping, ablations, and device implants for a 13-week travel contract at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated academic medical center.

Details

• Work in a dedicated Electrophysiology Lab within a large acute care teaching hospital featuring six state-of-the-art cath labs
• Facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, and holds American College of Cardiology accreditation for PCI procedures
• Procedures include EP ablations, device/implant procedures, and advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases
• Supported by a multidisciplinary team with adjacent cardiac surgery and hybrid ORs
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with rotating late shifts when cases extend into the evening
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• The EP lab is closed on facility holidays
• Charting is performed in Epic (experience required); Cupid documentation also used
• Must be available for one holiday per 13-week contract, rotated with staff

Requirements

• Minimum EP Lab experience required, including EP mapping
• Ability to scrub and circulate all EP procedures including ablations and device/implant cases
• Proficiency with sterile technique, EKG lead placement, dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation
• Experience with Micropace/LSPro and Epic/Cupid documentation systems
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, equipment handling, and supply management
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS, plus either ARRT(R) with a Virginia state license OR CCI RCES/RCIS (no state license required for CCI credential holders)
• Any active state license — in hand or pending — is accepted; Virginia offers emergency authorization for travelers while a permanent VA license is processing
• License required if applicable
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
