American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with ARRT(T) certification and an active SC state license for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital in South Carolina.

Details

• Radiation Therapy department at a Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 820 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00–15:30 or 7:30–16:00
• 13-week contract
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• No floating to other units or sister facilities
• Charting performed in Aria; Epic also in use at the facility

Requirements

• Active South Carolina Radiation Therapist license through SCRQSA required; candidates with a pending license may be considered, but must be fully licensed before starting
• ARRT(T) certification required
• Current AHA BLS required
• Candidates must provide their own personal radiation dosimetry badge — the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Open to first-time travelers depending on experience
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any facility in the health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• The facility prioritizes non-local candidates; candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local
• Local candidates are accepted
• All requested time off must be disclosed upfront; approval is based on facility needs
• Candidates with 7 or fewer days of non-holiday RTO may receive an expedited offer; requests exceeding 7 days or including holidays are subject to facility approval
• Online orientation modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment
• Blue scrubs preferred; any color accepted
