Description

American Traveler is seeking a registered Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with ARDMS RDCS or AE certification and experience in TEE, Stress Echo, and 3D strain imaging for a 13-week travel contract.

Details

• Hospital-based Echo/Cardiac Sonography unit
• 5x8 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with occasional 8:30 AM rotation start times
• 4x10 schedules cannot be accommodated; candidates must be available for 5x8 shifts
• Rotating weekends, approximately 1 in every 4
• May be required to float to other affiliated facilities within the health system
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• ARDMS RDCS or AE certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Experience with GE and/or Philips echocardiography equipment required
• Proficiency in 3D strain and image enhancing required
• Experience with TEE, Stress Echo, and Endo TE required
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed
• Candidates should prepare for the EKG exam in advance, as study materials will not be provided by the facility
• The facility has a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
