American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift radiology position requiring ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications and a valid state radiographer license.

Details

• Hospital-based radiology department (CT Scan unit)
• Patient population spans the full age continuum, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Performs diagnostic and interventional CT procedures
• Uses CT equipment, PACS, HIS, RIS, teleradiography, and scheduling systems
• 4x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Regular schedule is Sunday, Friday, and Saturday nights
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program required
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network required
• Valid NE state radiographer license required; license required if applicable
• Proficiency with CT equipment, PACS, and related imaging systems
• Experience with venipuncture required
• Ability to perform diagnostic and interventional CT procedures
• 2 current references required for consideration: 1 supervisor reference within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from the position's specialty within the last 3 years

Additional Information

• Performs all types of CT studies including diagnostic and interventional procedures, with strict adherence to radiation safety protocols
• Administers contrast agents and other drugs/biologicals pertinent to CT procedures per facility protocol
• Coordinates with medical staff, other departments, patients, and families to ensure quality and timely patient care
• Supports department quality improvement initiatives and assists with orientation and student clinical education as needed
• Facility does not accept local candidates; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Orientation schedule will differ from the regular shift schedule
