Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / IR Rad Tech with at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience, including ablations, for a 40-hour per week day shift contract at a Magnet-designated Level 2 Trauma Center in North Illinois.

Details

• Work in an Interventional Platform unit with 4 procedure rooms (pre/post area staffed by a separate unit)
• 176-bed Magnet-designated hospital and Level 2 Trauma Center with Primary Stroke Center designation
• EMR: Epic and Merge (Epic experience required)
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• One week of on-call per month (Monday 7:00 AM through the following Monday 7:00 AM)
• On-call one weekend per month
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience, with most recent experience within the last year
• Active IL Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required (license required if applicable)
• Active ARRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
• Associate's degree from an accredited School of Radiology required
• Experience with ablations required
• Ability to both scrub and record procedures required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

• Orientation of 1–3 days provided based on comfort level to learn unit flow
