Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of OR experience for a 13-week travel contract at a rural Level 4 trauma center.

Details

• Work in a rural hospital OR setting at a Level 4 trauma center
• Covers a broad range of surgical cases, excluding cardiac and spine procedures
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
• Requires sign-up for late shifts and on-call shifts
• One weekend per month required
• One weeknight per week required
• Holiday coverage required when applicable

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience required
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
• Relevant certifications required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification required

Additional Information

• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana testing — a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates should avoid any substances that could result in a positive drug screen upon arrival, including CBD products
