American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of IR/Angio experience and proficiency in PACS, biopsies, and a wide range of special procedures.

Details

• Acute care hospital interventional radiology unit
• Daily caseload of approximately 25 patients
• Procedures include stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, kyphoplasty, peripheral studies, drainages, abdominal and pelvic studies, upper/lower extremity studies, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and LP myelogram
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, with day off rotating when on-call shift extends to 7:00 AM
• No floating within the facility or to sister facilities
• Local candidates are accepted
• Block scheduling requests considered at manager's discretion
• RTO requests considered at manager's discretion

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of IR/Angio experience required
• Current ARRT certification and BLS required
• State license required if applicable
• Proficiency in PACS and contrast administration required
• Experience with biopsies required
• Experience with the full range of IR special procedures required, including stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripheral studies, drainages, abdominal and pelvic studies, upper/lower extremity studies, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and LP myelogram
• Experience with Siemens equipment preferred
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
