American Traveler is hiring a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for an 8-hour day shift position requiring floating to a nearby sister facility and a minimum of 2 years of current experience.

Details

• 8-hour day shift schedule
• Float to BMC (Crane and Endoscopy departments) as needed, approximately 21 miles from the primary location
• No weekend or on-call requirements; holiday coverage may be required
• Only 8-hour shifts are available — block schedules and 10- or 12-hour shifts will not be accommodated

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current Sterile Processing experience required
• CSRT (Certified Sterile Reprocessing Tech) certification required
• CBSPD or HSPA (IAHCSMM) certification required
• Active AHA BLS certification required
• Current Central Sterile Reprocessing Technician skills checklist (within the past year) required for consideration
• 1 supervisory-signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required for consideration
• Reliable personal vehicle required — the facility is located in a small community without public transportation
• License required if applicable

• Candidate must have a permanent address on file
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested, and all scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — requests made after an offer has been extended will not be approved and may result in a rescinded offer

• Mileage reimbursement for floating to BMC is not available
