American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day shift contract position requiring competency in both PET and general nuclear medicine imaging.

Details

• Nuclear Medicine department within an acute care hospital setting
• Focus on general nuclear medicine procedures — no cardiac nuclear medicine
• Equipment includes Siemens PET/CT, Siemens, and Philips nuclear medicine cameras
• Schedule options include 4x10-hour or 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• NMTCB and PET certifications required
• Competency in both PET and general nuclear medicine imaging required
• No minimum years of experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being considered as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered
• Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation
• Royal blue or khaki scrubs required
