American Traveler is hiring an Invasive Cardiac Tech with 3+ years of Cath Lab experience and a strong EP background for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in the North Chicago area.

Details

• Work in a cardiac cath lab with 4 procedure rooms and 15 prep/recovery bays
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Procedures include structural heart, complex coronary, peripheral, and EP interventions, including pacemaker and ICD implants
• Epic EMR (preferred, not required)
• 4x10 hour day shifts starting at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM
• Call required: 1 weekday per week after 5:30 PM and every 5th weekend (Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM), including holidays; 30-minute response time required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience with a strong EP background
• Experience with pacemakers and ICDs required
• Proficiency scrubbing and assisting physicians with structural heart, complex coronary, peripheral, and EP procedures
• Active IL state license (IEMA) required if applicable
• Active ARRT and BLS certifications required
• ACLS highly preferred
• At least 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the past year required for consideration
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Previous travel experience preferred

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided onsite
• Epic EMR experience is highly preferred but not required
• Candidates located within the Central Chicagoland area are not eligible for this position
