Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound/Echo Technologist for a Diagnostic Imaging position at a community hospital, requiring RDCS certification and experience in both ultrasound and echocardiography.

Details

• Work in the Diagnostic Imaging department of a 60-bed community hospital with approximately 80% outpatient volume
• Perform echocardiography and vascular ultrasound exams
• Equipment includes Philips Epiq 7 and Powerscribe reporting system
• 4x10-hour day shifts
• After-hours and weekend call required approximately 7 days per month
• No floating to other units or departments required

Requirements

• RDCS certification required
• Current BLS required
• Experience in echocardiography required; echo and vascular combined experience preferred
• Must be proficient in both ultrasound and echocardiography
• 2 current professional references required for consideration — 1 supervisor reference from within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from the specialty within the last 3 years
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform echocardiography and vascular ultrasound studies across a predominantly outpatient patient population
• Scrubs required
