American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 3+ years of experience and a strong EP background, including pacemaker and ICD experience, for a cardiac cath lab setting in the Central Chicagoland area.

Details

• Works in a cardiac cath lab with 4 procedure rooms and 15 prep/recovery bays
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Procedures include structural heart, complex coronary, peripheral, and EP cases, as well as pacemaker and ICD implants
• 10-hour day shifts with a start time of 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM
• Call required: 1 weekday per week after 5:30 PM, and every 5th weekend (Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM) with 24/7 availability on weekends and holidays
• 30-minute call-back response time required
• Holiday coverage follows the on-call rotation schedule
• No floating required
• EMR: Epic (preferred, not required)

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience, with most recent experience within the last year
• Strong EP background required, including experience with pacemakers and ICD devices
• Previous travel experience required
• Active IL state license (IEMA) required — license required if applicable
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• ACLS highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience highly preferred
• Ability to scrub and assist physicians with structural heart, complex coronary, peripheral, and EP procedures
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
