American Traveler is hiring an IR Technologist for a pediatric radiology setting, with 1+ year of experience and pediatric experience preferred.

Details

• Work in the Radiology department of a newly built (May 2026) Level II pediatric trauma facility with 152 total beds, including 70 NICU beds
• Exclusively pediatric patient population, ages 0–18, across all diagnoses
• Uses Siemens ArtisZee multipurpose imaging room
• 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, on a 7-on/7-off schedule running Thursday through Wednesday
• Weekend rotation may be required depending on the shift taken
• On-call may be required, limited to off-hours and weekends, not to exceed 24 hours per month
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of IR Tech experience; pediatric experience preferred
• ARRT-R certification required (lighter procedures only)
• Current BLS certification required
• Washington State license required if applicable
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary medical staff
• Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Must demonstrate patience and kindness when working with pediatric patients and their families
• Self-starter with strong multitasking ability
• Two supervisory references required prior to start (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, or above); one reference may be submitted at time of consideration
