American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at a teaching hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification.

Details

• Work in the MRI department of a 351-licensed-bed teaching hospital with a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center
• Patient population includes ED, inpatient, and outpatient cases averaging 27 patients per day
• Siemens Vida 3T and Espree 1.5T MRI equipment used
• EMR is Epic (experience preferred)
• 3x12-hour night shifts, Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• On-call requirement once every 5th Sunday (Sunday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM) with a 45-minute callback requirement; sleep room available with advance reservation
• No floating within the department; floating to Premier Imaging may apply
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays that fall within the assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required, with most recent experience within the last year
• Current BLS and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Experience with ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations required
• IV skills required; pacemaker experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

• Daytime transport support is available from 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Scheduling runs on a 5-week cycle; RTO requires manager approval
