American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist with 2+ years of Level 1 Trauma Center experience and required Siemens MR proficiency for a weekend-focused day shift contract.

Details

• Located at an acute care hospital within a dedicated MRI unit
• Patient population includes pediatric patients and those requiring anesthesia
• 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, scheduled Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• Epic and PACS experience preferred
• 14-week contract

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARRT (MR) certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center or academic teaching facility preferred
• Hands-on experience with Siemens MR equipment required
• MRI safety expertise required, including knowledge of implant research and adherence to scanning protocols
• Experience with anesthesia patients and pediatric populations required
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
• State license required if applicable
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Perform MRI scans in compliance with MRI safety guidelines, including evaluating patient implants prior to scanning
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission, as requests made after submission will not be approved
