American Traveler is hiring a Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR/Cath Lab experience, including Body (trauma) and Neuro (stroke) experience, for a travel assignment in Dallas, TX.

Details

• Interventional radiology setting performing procedures on both ambulatory and inpatient hospital populations
• Patient population spans all age groups including newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric
• 4x10 hour AM shifts, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM with a rotating day off
• Rotating on-call shifts required; must be able to report and be ready for a case within 30 minutes of call (including drive, parking, and walking time)
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• May be required to float per facility policy
• 13-week contract in Dallas, TX

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of IR or Cath Lab experience required
• Body (trauma) and Neuro (stroke) experience required
• Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
• Vascular Interventional (VI) experience preferred
• Active BLS certification (AHA only) required
• MRT and ARRT certifications required
• TX state license required if applicable
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• DOB and SSN required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify; no local travelers accepted
• Flu shot required; no exemptions granted

Additional Information

• Perform high-quality IR procedures including invasive multimodality procedures using proper sterile technique
• Responsible for patient positioning, equipment setup, and exposure factor adjustment
• Communicates procedure details to patients and families and assesses patient tolerance
• Maintains imaging records, documentation, and inventory in compliance with department standards
• May serve as a preceptor for new team members and on new services or initiatives
• Administers first aid and responds to emergency situations as needed
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
