American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with at least 2 years of experience and Varian TrueBeam proficiency for a 13-week outpatient/inpatient Radiation Oncology Clinic assignment.

Details

• Radiation Oncology Clinic setting, serving both outpatient and inpatient populations
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)
• Limited call required; no floating
• Required procedures include CT simulation, respiratory gating/breath hold for left breast, stereotactic radiosurgery, craniospinal treatments, and beam data acquisition
• Required general skills include CBCT/kV/mV imaging, wedges, beam modifiers, and chart checks
• Preferred skills include block cutting, field shaping, emergency cases, contouring, and ETHOS adaptive therapy
• Preferred specialty experience includes electron field, heterotopic bone, benign brain tumors, brachytherapy, and GYN cancers
• Preferred pre-treatment experience includes custom molds and custom shields
• Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator experience required; ETHOS preferred
• ARIA and McKesson documentation systems required; Impac MOSAIQ and Cerner preferred
• Holiday coverage required, with at least 50% of holidays worked during the contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of overall experience, with at least 1 year in the radiation therapy specialty
• Adult and geriatric clinical experience required, including both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Current BLS certification required
• ASRT membership/certification required
• ARRT certification preferred
• Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator experience required
• Proficiency with ARIA and McKesson documentation systems required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of consideration
