American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience to support a stroke center in Anchorage, AK, with stroke coverage capability required.

• Located in the CT Scan department on the 2nd floor of a 250-bed acute care hospital
• Supports a designated Stroke Center and must be able to cover stroke-related CT imaging
• Performs all routine CT exams as well as invasive procedures
• Uses a GE 64-Slice CT scanner and documents in Epic EMR with McKesson PACS
• Day shift schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
• On-call and weekend requirements as needed
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• No floating required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience, with at least 6 months of experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of start)
• Ability to perform all routine CT exams, including invasive procedures
• Stroke coverage capability required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates accepted
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• License required if applicable
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Perform all routine CT exams and invasive procedures, including stroke protocol imaging
• IV insertion skills are preferred
• Day shift team typically consists of 2–3 CT Techs
