Description

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with BLS and ARRT-T certifications and at least 1 year of experience for a day shift contract at an acute care hospital.

Details

• Work setting is an acute care hospital with 150 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• 13-week contract
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating between all facilities within the state is required — refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
• Free parking provided on the first day; assignment parking information is given during orientation

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARRT-T certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• A minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Black scrubs required

• Block scheduling is available at the manager's discretion
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
