Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience to work evening shifts at a Level II Trauma Center acute care hospital.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level II Trauma Center with 431 staffed beds
• MRI department performs general, MSK, neuro, vascular, and cardiac MR imaging
• Patient population includes adults, pediatrics, patients requiring anesthesia or ventilator support, and those with conditional implants
• Daily caseload of 10–15 patients
• Evening shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM (5x8 hours)
• Rotating weekday call (generally 1 day per week), rotating Friday call, and rotating weekend call — call frequency may increase up to 2 days per week based on staffing needs
• Holiday rotation required
• No floating to sister facilities
• Charting in Epic
• Uses Philips iSite PACS and Care Logistics software
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• ARRT certification required; Virginia state license is not required — national ARRT certification is sufficient
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience
• Experience with PACS and contrast administration required
• License required if applicable

• Perform a wide range of MRI exams including general, MSK, neuro, vascular, and cardiac imaging
• Responsibilities include document scanning and use of Care Logistics software
