American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of X-ray and fluoroscopy experience, including strong OR experience, for an evening shift position at a Level 1 Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching hospital in Libertyville, IL.

Details

• Work in a busy 273-bed Level 1 Trauma Center, Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital and Primary Stroke Center with a Level II NICU
• Radiology department with 5 beds serving inpatient and outpatient populations
• General X-ray and fluoroscopy patient cases
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 8-hour evening shifts starting at 3:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• Every other weekend rotation
• 4 OR on-call shifts per month
• Holiday coverage as needed by the department
• No floating required
• Epic EMR — experience required
• GE, Siemens, and Fuji imaging equipment in use

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of X-ray experience, with most recent experience within the last year
• Strong OR experience required
• Fluoroscopy experience required
• Active IL state license (IEMA) required — license required if applicable
• Current BLS (AHA) and ARRT certification required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Proficiency with GE, Siemens, or Fuji equipment preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

• Orientation includes at least one shift to learn department flow
