American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a cardiac cath lab position at a Level III Trauma Center in Oshkosh, WI, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in cath lab procedures including diagnostics, interventional, and EP.

Details

• Work in a 2-room cath lab department consisting of 1 combined EP/Cath room and 1 dedicated Cath Lab
• Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center
• Cath Lab procedures include diagnostics, interventional, femoral and radial approach, IFR, FFR, and balloon pumps
• EP procedures include pacemakers, AICDs, loop recorders, diagnostic EP, and right-sided ablations
• Average of 4 cases per day
• This is a 24/7, 365 STEMI program
• EMR: Epic
• Hemodynamic system: Maclab (travelers will not monitor cases)
• Equipment includes GE C-arms, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Manifold contrast system
• 8-hour day shifts with flexibility for 4x8, 4x9, or 4x10 schedules
• Approximately 50% call per month, including multiple nights per week and full weekends (end of shift Friday through Monday morning)
• Weekday call hours run 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Weekend call rotation required; weekend call covers entire weekends when assigned
• Holiday call coverage is required
• Floating is limited to between rooms within the department and the pre-op area

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required for both RN and Tech candidates
• RN: Current BLS and ACLS required
• RT/CVT: Current BLS and ARRT or RCIS required; ACLS preferred
• RN candidates must have experience with cath lab procedures and critical care (ED or ICU) experience
• RT/CVT candidates must have cath lab experience with the procedures listed above
• Experience with balloon pumps and temporary pacers required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the past year
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
