American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT-Radiation Therapy certification and Varian TrueBeam experience for a hospital oncology department in Kenosha, WI offering a Monday–Friday day shift schedule with no weekends, holidays, or call.

Details

• Outpatient oncology radiation therapy setting with 2 Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators
• Adult-only patient population with all cancer-related diagnoses
• Average patient volume of 20–45 patients per day
• 2:1 patient-to-therapist ratio
• Uses Aria EMR (Epic also in use)
• Monday–Friday day shift, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (may vary slightly based on volume)
• No weekend rotation, no on-call, and no holiday coverage required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active Radiation Therapist license (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS and ARRT-Radiation Therapy certifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Varian TrueBeam and Aria, with most recent experience within the last year
• Experience operating Linear Accelerators and administering radiation treatments
• Experience with DIBH and SBRT preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Additional Information

• Administer radiation therapy treatments using Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerators
• Supported by a Lead Therapist, additional therapists, providers, leadership, and RN staff
• Orientation of up to 1 week, tailored to individual comfort level
• Any solid scrub color is acceptable
