American Traveler is hiring a General Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of experience for an evening shift travel contract at a Trauma Level II hospital in Billings, MT.

Details

• Evening shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• General ultrasound unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Trauma Level II facility; teaching hospital experience preferred
• Patient populations include adult, pediatric, NICU, PICU, ED, ICU, and OB/GYN
• Procedures include abdominal (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, aorta, appendix), renal/pelvis, bladder, OB (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester), neonatal, small parts, superficial masses, thyroid, testicles/scrotum, and vaginal ultrasound
• Vascular studies include carotid duplex, upper and lower extremity arterial/venous, renal artery duplex, arterial mapping, arterial graft studies, color flow, Doppler, and peripheral vascular resistance
• Ultrasound-guided procedures include biopsies/fine needle aspiration, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
• Equipment used includes GE ultrasound systems and PACS
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• No floating within or outside the hospital unless agreed upon during the interview/offer process

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of General Ultrasound experience required
• ARDMS certification and BLS required; RDCS/RVT preferred
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Prior travel experience required
• Experience with GE ultrasound equipment and PACS
• Proficiency in general, vascular, OB, pediatric, and small parts ultrasound
• License required if applicable
• References required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a gap of at least 1 year before returning
• RTO requests must be disclosed at the time of submission
• Pre-employment modules are completed prior to the start date and vary based on specialty
• Background check hits and license pending cases are reviewed on a case-by-case basis
