American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week contract at an acute care hospital in Columbia, SC, requiring a minimum of 1 year of CT experience and ARRT (CT) certification.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in an inpatient CT department
• 4x10-hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• No floating required
• EMR: Epic (experience required); PACS: Sectra
• Philips and Siemens CT equipment experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT)
• SC license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with Philips and Siemens CT equipment
• Radiation dosimetry badge required — must be provided by candidate's agency prior to start
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC facility must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
• Orientation modules are completed prior to the start date
• Black and/or teal scrubs required
• Complimentary parking is available via a parking pass distributed at badge pickup; garage clearance is limited to average-sized SUVs and trucks
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and September
