American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with Trauma, Ortho, and Neuro experience for a day-shift OR position at an acute care hospital in California.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with a Level II Trauma designation and 130 staffed beds
• OR Tech/Surgical Tech unit serving Trauma, Ortho, and Neuro patient populations
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call is not required but may be offered or available
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred
• Scrubs may be any color

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical tech experience
• 1 year of travel experience required
• NBSTSA certification required
• BLS certification required
• CA license required if applicable
• Experience in Trauma, Ortho, and Neuro cases required
• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Previous employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
