American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of U.S. hospital experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Washington, D.C.

Details

• Hospital-based radiology department, including ER and Main Diagnostic settings
• Performs radiographic procedures using both fixed and mobile radiographic equipment
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts
• Call is required on the scheduled Fri/Sat/Sun rotation

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of U.S. hospital experience in radiology required
• Associate's Degree or equivalent, including completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
• Active ARRT registration required (no pending status)
• Active state/district Radiology license required — license required if applicable (no pending status)
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current state Radiation Quality Standards compliance and RT Registration
• Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• U.S. Social Security Number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Additional Information

• Performs radiographic procedures under the direction of a supervisor, manager, or Radiologist
• Works collaboratively within a team of radiological technologists and hospital staff to deliver quality patient care and diagnostic imaging
• CPI certification is mandated for this position
• All certifications must be AHA-issued
