American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with CA licensure, ARRT-T certification, and hands-on experience with Elekta, Mosaiq, and AlignRT for a hospital-based Radiation Oncology position in Santa Cruz, CA.

• Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department setting
• 13-week travel contract
• Schedule is 5x8-hour shifts; shift start times vary between 5:45 AM and 8:30 PM — full schedule flexibility is required
• Two possible shift windows: days (8:00–17:00) or evenings (12:00–20:00)

Requirements

• Active CA Radiation Therapist license required if applicable
• Current ARRT (T) and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience required
• Hands-on experience with Elekta linear accelerator, Mosaiq oncology information system, and AlignRT surface-guided radiation therapy required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with varying shift start times

• Competently performs routine and specialized radiation treatments per physician-developed treatment plans
• Works independently using sound clinical judgment to execute safe, precise, and timely procedures
• Responsible for patient assessment, monitoring, and communication with patients, families, and care team members
• May orient other staff to department procedures and protocols
• Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety
• Candidates must have been away from this facility for at least 1 year to be eligible as a traveler
