Description

American Traveler is hiring an EKG Technologist (Monitor Tech) for night shift cardiac monitoring roles at an acute care hospital, with 1+ year of experience and CCI CRAT or NTA certification required.

Details

• Hospital-based monitor tech unit transitioning from RN-managed to specialty tech roles
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 hours (19:00–07:30); 8-hour shift options (07:00–15:30, 15:00–23:30, or 23:00–07:30) may also be considered
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Floating required to all specialties with cardiac monitoring in place within the facility, and to a sister facility as needed
• No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of cardiac monitoring experience required
• CCI CRAT or NTA certification required
• BLS required
• Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills required
• RNs with strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation experience will be considered at the approved role rate
• License required if applicable

• Interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor patients across multiple units where cardiac monitoring is in place
• Holiday shifts are required as they fall on the schedule
