Description

American Traveler is hiring an EKG Technologist / Cardiac Monitor Tech for a 13-week contract in a hospital setting, requiring 1 year of experience and CCI CRAT, NTA, or RN licensure with strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills.

Details

• Work on a dedicated Monitor Tech unit transitioning from RN-managed to specialty tech role
• 3x12 or 4x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM; 8-hour shift options also considered (7:00–15:30, 15:00–23:30, or 23:00–7:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Floating required to all specialties within the facility where cardiac monitoring is in place, as well as to a sister facility as needed
• No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of cardiac monitoring experience required
• CCI CRAT or NTA certification required; RNs with strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation experience will also be considered
• Current BLS required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsible for continuous cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation across monitored units
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced local travel rate
