American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician with 2+ years of experience performing scrub and monitoring duties across diagnostic, interventional, and EP procedures.

• 13-week contract at a cardiac hospital setting
• Cath lab supports invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing, as well as interventional procedures including structural heart, diagnostic and therapeutic coronary and peripheral, and EP
• Candidates must be able to scrub and pan for peripheral and diagnostic procedures
• Monday–Friday schedule with variable start times between 7:00–8:00 AM, working 8-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week
• Call schedule includes approximately one day per week and one weekend per month

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP experience in a US hospital
• RCIS or RAD certification required; license required if applicable
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA only) required
• Degree in a related field (BA, BS, BSN, or AA) or equivalent experience required
• CPI certification mandated by position
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Active license required — no pending licenses accepted
• US Social Security Number required
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Additional Information

• Performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment while applying prescribed procedures for operation of radiology imaging equipment
• Works in a multidisciplinary lab supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures
• Experience in specialties beyond Cath Lab and EP is a plus
• All certifications submitted must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
