American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with at least 1 year of CVOR experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Level 3 trauma center in Rogers, AR.

• Work in a hospital CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) unit
• Days shift, 4x10 schedule (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• On-call requirements as needed by the facility
• Epic EMR in use
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR experience
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program, LPN program, or comparable educational background
• BLS certification required
• CST certification preferred
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
• All licenses must be active, with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documented renewal is scheduled
• License required if applicable
• No gaps in employment of 90 or more days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Maintain the sterile field and obtain necessary supplies and equipment throughout surgical procedures
• Assist the surgeon during operative and invasive cardiovascular procedures
• Ensure the operating suite is adequately prepared prior to each procedure
• Monitor PAR levels of surgical instruments and supplies
• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments
• Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities
• Ophthalmology or eye surgery experience is a preferred but not required
• Multilingual candidates are preferred
• Black scrubs are required
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate and may not exceed 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this location; after 3 consecutive contracts, a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
• The facility is a Level 3 Arkansas Trauma Center with 250 patient beds and holds a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade 'A' and CMS 5-Star Rating
