American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience, including outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU settings, for a 4x10 day shift contract at an academic medical center in St. Louis, MO.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit within a 356-bed non-profit, academic, and research medical center providing tertiary care
• Inpatient, outpatient, and adult ICU patient populations
• Procedures include stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, peripheral and vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, abdominal and pelvic procedures, upper/lower extremity studies, biopsies, and drainages
• Equipment includes PACS, C-Arm, contrast injector systems (ACIST preferred), micro catheters, micro wires, snare kits, and pushable/detachable coils
• Epic EMR — experience required
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call is assigned an average of 10 days per month, including weekends
• No floating outside of scope

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of IR Tech experience
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, and adult ICU settings required
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency with PACS, C-Arm, contrast administration, and biopsies
• Experience with micro catheters, micro wires, snare kits, and pushable/detachable coils
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
