American Traveler is seeking an Echo/Vascular Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a diagnostic radiology department, requiring 2+ years of echo and vascular experience with ARDMS or CCI registry preferred.

Details

• Diagnostic Radiology department in an acute care hospital setting
• Performs transthoracic contrast echocardiograms, venous and arterial Dopplers, and cardiac and vascular stress testing
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Rotational call every 3rd weekend and rotational weekday call
• No floating required
• EMR: Medhost and Carestream

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in echocardiography and vascular technology
• Graduate of an approved program in echocardiography and vascular technology/sonography or non-invasive cardiovascular technology
• Registry in echocardiography and/or vascular technology by ARDMS or CCI preferred; vascular registry highly preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge and skill in transthoracic contrast echocardiography
• Experience with EKG interpretation and cardiac/vascular stress testing preferred
• Experience placing IV lines and administering IV medications desirable
• License required if applicable
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Performs echocardiograms and venous/arterial Doppler studies as primary daily responsibilities
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• RTO requests must be less than one week; maximum of 3 days RTO
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• Scrub color: any color except hunter green
