American Traveler is seeking a CT Scan Technologist with at least 6 months of Level 1 trauma experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital in Charleston, SC.

Details

• Work in the CT department of an 865-bed Magnet-designated, Level 1 trauma, academic teaching hospital
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with holiday rotation
• Daily caseload varies by shift and location
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required, including to sister facilities
• On-call is not required
• Charting is performed in Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of Level 1 trauma experience required; 1 year of CT experience preferred
• Current BLS (AHA), ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT) certifications required
• Siemens scanner experience required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• SC state license must be in hand at time of start — license required if applicable
• A radiation badge must be provided by the candidate or their agency, as the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• First-time travelers will be considered if they have the required experience

Additional Information

• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized, and local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission; approval is subject to manager and unit needs
• Orientation modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment
• Scrub colors required are a teal top and black bottom
• Weeknight and weekend parking is available for a one-time $20 parking pass fee
