Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Scan Technologist with at least 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital.

Details

• Work in an outpatient imaging center (primary location) with required floating to the main hospital campus
• Level 1 Trauma, Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital with 865 staffed beds
• Caseload varies by shift and location
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Floating within clinical scope required to meet facility needs, including sister facilities
• No on-call requirement
• Charting via Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required; 1 year of CT experience preferred
• Current BLS (AHA), ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA R(CT) required
• PIV experience required
• Siemens scanner experience required
• SC state license must be in hand at time of start; license required if applicable
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate; local candidates within 60 miles are considered on a case-by-case basis

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted provided they have relevant prior experience
• Former permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC facility must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront; approval is subject to manager and unit needs
• Pre-start online modules are required to be completed before the assignment begins
• Scrub color: teal top and black bottom
• Agency is responsible for providing the candidate's radiation badge — the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers
• Parking is free on nights and weekends; a one-time $20 parking pass fee applies for daytime parking
