American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with Epic experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma teaching hospital in a day-shift OR role.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 209 beds, designated as a Level II Trauma center and teaching hospital
• Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (11:00–23:00)
• On-call required every 8th weekend, plus 2–3 weeknights per month
• Weekend availability required per on-call schedule
• Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
• Scrubs are provided in the OR unit

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CST/OR Tech experience required
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO is expected to be minimal; all time-off requests must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
• No parking fee at this facility
