American Traveler is hiring a Dialysis Technician at a Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center, with Epic proficiency required and first-time travelers welcome.

Details

• Works in an outpatient dialysis clinic setting at a 25-bed Critical Access/Level III Trauma teaching hospital
• Clinic schedule follows a Mon/Wed/Fri rotation, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM (3x12-hour day shifts)
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses Fresenius 2008T hemodialysis machines
• Charts in Epic (hard stop requirement — Epic experience is mandatory)
• No on-call, weekend, or block scheduling requirements
• No floating between units within this assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of hemodialysis technician experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency is required — no exceptions
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Scrubs are not provided for this unit — any color scrubs are acceptable
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; scheduling requests should be communicated upfront, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
