American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist at a transplant facility and primary stroke center, requiring a minimum of 1 year of MRI experience with a heavy focus on MRI/MRA imaging.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting at a transplant facility and primary stroke center
• MRI/MRA-heavy unit with a focus on advanced neurological and vascular imaging
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• On-call requirement of one weekend every 6 weeks
• May float within the facility per scope of practice and to outpatient as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required
• Active professional license required, if applicable
• Current certifications required (copies required for consideration)
• Two supervisory references (manager level or above) are highly preferred; charge nurse references are not accepted

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Local candidates are accepted
• RTO is capped at 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• Travelers are expected to work all major holidays that fall within their assignment period if one or two occur; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them — major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Travelers must be away from all facilities in this health system for a minimum of one full year before returning as a traveler
• No schedule change requests or alternate shift requests are permitted; the posted shift is firm
• No scheduling requests are permitted during the first week of the assignment
