American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a day shift position at a transplant facility and primary stroke center with MRI/MRA-heavy caseload.

Details

• Hospital setting at a transplant facility and primary stroke center
• MRI unit with an MRI/MRA-heavy caseload
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Call requirement of one weekend every 6 weeks
• Floating within facility scope of practice and to outpatient as needed
• 16-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required
• Active professional licensure required at time of consideration, if applicable
• Copies of relevant certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Local candidates are accepted
• RTO is capped at 7 days and may not be requested during the first week of the assignment
• If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Travelers must have been away from all facilities in this health system for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler
• No special scheduling requests, alternate shifts, or schedule changes are permitted — the posted shift is firm
• Full compliance is required to start on time; delays in compliance may result in a two-week pushback due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule
