American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with dual certification (RDCS/RCS and RVT) and 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract in Bamberg, SC.

Details

• Outpatient heart and vascular center specializing in congestive heart failure treatment, monitoring, medication management, and surgical care
• Daily caseload of 8–10 patients per technologist
• 4x9.5 hour day shifts, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (~36 hours/week)
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• No floating to other service lines or sister facilities
• Charting performed in Epic (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer
• Dual certification required: RDCS or RCS and RVT; CCI certification is also accepted
• Current BLS (AHA only)
• SC license required if applicable
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are considered for this position
• Candidates who have previously worked as permanent staff or PRN at any facility within this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized, and local candidates are considered on a case-by-case basis
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront; approval is based on facility needs
• Completion of online orientation modules is required prior to the start of the assignment
• No specific scrub color required
