American Traveler is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a minimum of 3 years of CVOR experience for a 13-week hospital surgical assignment in Austin, TX.

Details

• High-volume hospital CVOR setting with 4-6 ORs, including an endovascular suite capable of four concurrent cardiopulmonary bypass procedures
• Cardiac procedures include CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic dissection, heart transplantation, VAD placement, Impella/IABP placement, adult ECMO, and TAVR
• Thoracic cases include laparoscopic, robot-assisted, and open procedures
• Vascular procedures range from ESRD graft/fistula placement and revision to endovascular interventions
• Schedule is 3 shifts per week, 11:00 AM–11:30 PM, on weekdays based on departmental need
• Call coverage required after normal business hours and on weekends

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of recent, full-time CVOR CST experience in a high-volume hospital setting
• Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment with minimal onboarding
• Two verifiable references from prior travel assignments confirming no additional training was required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• License required if applicable
• Valid US Social Security Number and a US home address required
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

• Candidates who require extensive onboarding or have less than the required experience will not be considered
• Local candidates are eligible to apply; however, a radius rule applies and may affect the pay rate depending on distance from the facility
