American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with 3–5+ years of OR experience for an outpatient OR position at a large academic medical center in Baltimore, MD.

Details

• Outpatient OR setting at a large academic medical center (500+ bed facility)
• General surgery patient population
• Epic EMR with Circulator and Scrub roles
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts: Monday–Wednesday and Friday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Thursday 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
• 40 hours per week with a rotational day off; no block or set schedule
• No call, no weekends, and no holiday coverage required

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of current OR experience required
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program required; certification is not required
• General surgery experience required
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience preferred (Circulator and Scrub roles)
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 1 professional reference required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Scrub and/or circulate on general surgery cases in an outpatient OR environment
• Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate for this location
