American Traveler is hiring an experienced travel Sterile Processing Technician for an evening shift position at a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center in Washington State.

Details

• Works in the Sterile Processing department at a short-term acute care Level III Trauma Center
• Evening shift: 5x8-hour shifts, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Occasional weekends required
• No on-call or block schedule requirements
• Charting via Epic EMR
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• No parking fee
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of travel experience as a Sterile Processing Technician required — experienced travelers only
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 years of SPT experience required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state of Washington; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO requests must be submitted prior to or at the time of submittal — requests made post-offer may be denied
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
