American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist for a hospital-based Radiation Oncology clinic with high-volume caseload experience and proficiency on Varian linear accelerators.

Details

• Work in a hospital Radiation Oncology clinic with two treatment units
• High-volume setting with approximately 64–68 patients treated per day
• Equipment includes two Varian linear accelerators: TrueBeam and EDGE
• Uses ARIA record and verify system (upgrading to v18.1)
• Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, shifts vary between 8:00am–5:30pm
• No weekend or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active state Radiation Therapist license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT (T) certification required
• Experience in mid-to-large hospital radiation oncology settings required
• Proficiency with Varian linear accelerators required
• Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume, fast-paced caseload

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments across two active treatment units in a busy cancer center
• Must be comfortable multitasking and operating independently in a fast-paced clinic environment
