American Traveler is seeking a CVOR Surgical Tech for a hospital-based position requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience assisting with cardiovascular cases including CABG, valve, and vascular procedures.

Details

• Hospital CVOR unit focused on cardiovascular surgical cases including CABG, valve, and vascular procedures
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (6:15 AM – 2:45 PM)
• Call required approximately 25–33% of the time
• Epic used for charting; experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required; first-time travelers considered with 2 years of experience
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist credential required
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Assist with cardiovascular surgical cases including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, and vascular procedures
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be automatically approved; no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation
• Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted for this position
