American Traveler is seeking a Rad Tech - RT(R) with 2+ years of radiology experience for a weekend night shift travel assignment in a Level 1 trauma hospital setting.

Details

• Located in the Imaging Services department on the basement floor of a 400-bed acute care hospital
• Patient population ranges from walk-in cases to Level 1 trauma
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Equipment includes Shimadzu, Konica, Carestream, Fuji, and Siemens
• EMR systems used are Cerner and McKesson
• Friday through Sunday night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (12-hour nights)
• No call requirements
• No float requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent radiology experience, including ER, OR, and mobile settings
• Active ARRT certification required
• Active KY State License required if applicable
• AHA BLS certification required (AHA only accepted; must not expire in the same month as start date)
• Active NIHSS certification required at time of consideration — proof of enrollment is not sufficient
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• US Social Security Number required
• Flu and COVID vaccinations required — no exceptions

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures across a high-acuity patient population spanning walk-in to Level 1 trauma cases
• Candidates should be eager, self-motivated, and able to take high initiative in a fast-paced environment
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• AHA certifications must be active and copies provided for consideration
• Candidates with any license violations or disciplinary actions on record will not be considered
• Gaps in work history of 3 months or more require an explanation
