American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in a freestanding emergency department setting, requiring at least 2 years of recent experience and the ability to work independently.

Details

• Position is located at a freestanding emergency department (FSED) in Taylorsville, UT
• 10-bed ED unit within the CT/Imaging Services department
• Small team of 4 staff; day shift is staffed by 1 CT/X-Ray tech and 1 ultrasound tech, night shift by 1 CT/X-Ray tech
• Patient population consists of ED patients
• Uses a GE Optima 660 CT scanner
• EMR is Epic; experience is expected
• Shift is Thursday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No on-call requirements; option to pick up additional shifts available
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CT technologist experience required
• Must have active ARRT (CR) certification
• Active state license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• SSN and DOB required for consideration; Canadian SSNs are not accepted
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform CT and X-Ray imaging for emergency department patients in a freestanding ED environment
• Candidates must be self-starters and comfortable working solo
• Gray scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
